Meet Sara
Canopy Pantry is Sara's vision — a 13-acre permaculture homestead and nursery south of Topeka. After 22 years in the Army Reserve and a career as a licensed clinical social worker, she brings the same discipline and care to the land that she brings to everything she does.
She believes permaculture is a better way — that working with nature instead of against it creates something more resilient, more productive, and more meaningful than row cropping ever could. No shortcuts, no GMOs, just patience and hard work. Every tree planted, every duck raised, every jar of honey is part of a system designed to give back more than it takes.
